Overview
My photographs of interior design I like. None of it is mine. These are rooms I walked into and could not stop looking at. Somebody made a hundred decisions in each one and most people will never register a single one of them. Where the light comes from. How one material stops and another starts. Whether a doorway lines up with something on the far wall or misses it by two inches. Sometimes it is the whole room. Sometimes it is one detail. I photograph them because it is the fastest way to remember a decision. A note about a room is useless a year later. A photograph of it still tells me exactly what somebody chose. It is the closest thing I have to a design education, and I did not get it in a classroom.
